Obituary For Allen B. Tenny

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Allen B. Tenny on January 18th, 2023.

Funeral service is on January 22nd, at 2 PM at Total Faith Missionary Church of God 104 Mary Ellen Amey St Luthersville Ga 30251

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 PM on the 21st at Sewell Mortuary.

Mr. Allen Bernard “Boo Boo” Tenny was born to the late Luvenia Gates Tenny and the late Allen Tenny on July 24, 1973, in Coweta County, Georgia. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Allen attended the Meriwether County School system. He started his career with Andrews Products in Newnan, Georgia. He was later employed at Sabel Steel in Newnan, Georgia.

Allen was preceded in death by his mother, Luvenia Gates Tenny; father, Allen Tenny; sister, Tomeika Bray; and three grandparents, Willie F. Gates, Alonzo Junior Tenny, and Emma Mae Tenny.

Allen leaves to cherish his loving memories, his grandmother, Carrie Lee Gates of Newnan, Georgia; sister, Waqueisha Tenny of Luthersville, Georgia; three nephews, Lamarcus (Talika) Tenny, Sr. of Newnan, Georgia, Kenzavier Tenny, Sr. of Luthersville, Georgia, and Keron Tenny of Greenville, Georgia; two great -nephews, Lamarcus Tenny, Jr. and Kenzavier Tenny, Jr.; one great niece, Anilah Tenny; eight aunts, Dorothy (John) McCauley of Luthersville, Georgia, Barbara Colton of Newnan, Georgia, Tommie (Samuel) Rosser of Newnan, Georgia, Brenda (Rafford) Bussie of Luthersville, Georgia, Annie Zackery, Johnnie Allen, and Diana Tenny all of Newnan, Georgia, Harriet (William) Rhodes of Dayton, Ohio, and Shirley Tenny of Fayetteville, Georgia; brother -in -law, Kenya Bray; special friends, Nicholas Maples and Boris Blount; and a host of cousins and friends.
