The Seed During the pleasant fall season, September 17 1954 in Greenville, Georgia, The Lord planted the seed, Anita Coleman, within the union of the late Mr Alvertis Coleman and Miss Nellie Barnes The seed was nurtured and began to grow and sprout as Anita joined the Springfield Baptist Church at an early age She always had a strong love for family and Christ She was educated in the Meriwether County School System, where she graduated as a member of the Greenville High School Patriots’ class of 1973

The Stem With the firm foundation provided by her parents, Nita began to take root After graduating high school, she entered the workforce She was a hardworking, independent, young lady who liked to take care of herself She worked from the time she graduated high school, until her recent retirement, September 2020 from TenCate (Southern Mills) Senoia, Georgia

The Flower January 5 1980 William and Anita were joined together in holy matrimony This beautiful flower blossomed throughout this marriage She was a caring and kind hearted lady who showered unconditional love upon her Family, Friends and her many Flowers! Like all great flowers, Nita reproduced and gave birth to three beautiful children She loved caring for her husband and children, hosting family events at their home, collecting pictures of family and friends, and nurturing her flowers Anita “ Coleman Gates spread happiness and shared her love with others everywhere she went While Nita was shy and did not seek attention for herself, she always found pleasure bringing joy to others and watching them shine

Her Sowing Not only was Nita a nurturer to her own family, but she was also a blessing to so many others Nita was a giver! She enjoyed bringing happiness to others She enjoyed buying and selling collectibles, going to yard sales, having yard sales, and selling a variety of items Even though she loved to sell items, for Nita the joy did not come from the selling, but from the people she met on her routes and in her yard Her selling was not about the money Because of her big heart and caring personality, she gave away more than she ever sold
