Obituary For Belinda J. Harps

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Belinda J. Harps on February 3rd, 2019.

Funeral service is February 9th, 2:00 PM at Springfield Baptist Church in Greenville GA.

Visitation will be on Friday the 8th from 4 to 6 PM at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville.

Mrs. Belinda Johnson Harps was born April 11, 1956 in Dade County, Florida to Alexander (Jack) and Anna H. Johnson.

She was a graduate of Greenville High School and Atlanta Junior College. Belinda and Frank Harps were joined in holy matrimony on December 24, 1981. Their union was blessed with two loving children. Belinda J. Harps passed on Sunday, February 3, 2019, a journey we all will have to make one day. She was preceded in death by her parents: Alexander and Anna Johnson; brothers and sisters: Georgia M. Miles, Mozell Brooks, J. W. Johnson, Tommy Cecil Johnson, Alexander Johnson, Donnell Johnson, Annie S. Willis, Eva M. Bell, Gloria A. Johnson, Jeanette Dickerson.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Harps; her children Charrie Harps and Dana Harps; surviving siblings: Betty J. (Jimmy) Trice, Eina J. (Calvin) Ogletree, Elbert (Linda) Johnson, Alexander (Catherine) Johnson; Sisters and Brothersin-law: John Dickerson, Bernice Moore, Teresa Burks, Angela Moore, Lester Moore, Kenneth Moore, Glenn Moore, Jerome Moore, Anthony Moore; Aunts: Louise Harps, Beneatha Harps; Sister-Cousin: Tammy Mack (Tim Echols); Special Friends: Louise and Sam Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, other relatives and friends
