Obituary For Charlie Askew

Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Charlie Askew on March 4th, 2018.

Funeral Service is March 10th, at 11:00 am at Sewell Mortuary Chapel in Grantville.

A Time To Be Born

Charlie Joe was born on February 2, 1950 in Troup County to the late Pauline Finley Askew and Charlie Joe Askew, Sr.

A Time To Accept

He confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior.

A Time To Love

Charlie Joe was loved and loved all whom he came to know.

A Time To Remember

When we think of Charlie Joe, many fond memories come to mind. He was united in marriage to Betty Ann Moss. He was deeply devoted to his family and friends.

A Time To Die

God saw that Charlie Joe was growing tired and weary. On Sunday morning God embraced Charlie Joe in His arms and enfolded him in love. Charlie Joe left on his journey peacefully.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Betty Ann Askew; his children, Charlette (Rufus) Bell, Travis (Vickie) Askew, Michael (Lisa) Copeland, Tawanna (LaTasha) Johnson, Monique (Bobby) Lockhart, Derick Copeland, Willie Crowder; sixteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
