Obituary For Cortney M. Alexander

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Cortney M. Alexander (Tae Tae)

Graveside service will be Saturday February 6th, at 1:00 PM at Greenville City Cemetery in Greenville Georgia.

Visitation is from 3 to 5 PM on Friday the 5th, at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville.

Cortney Marte Alexander was born to the late Ms. Connie V. Parham and Mr. Herbert Alexander.

Cortney always kept a smile on his face, never met a stranger, he loved to sing, dance, love to go shopping, eat out with his family and friends. He will be truly missed.

On Friday, January 29, 2021 Cortney Marte Alexander passed away at Cobb Medical Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Dad/Father Herbert (Kathy) Alexander of Mursfreeboro, TN; stepfather Robert Parham of Greenville, GA; brothers Adrian (Mallory) Alexander, Andre Alexander (Keisha), Marlon (Tameka) Alexander all of LaGrange, GA; half brother Terric Parks (Rita) of Greenville, GA; uncles John Alexander, Robert Alexander, George Alexander, Terry Alexander, Paul Smith and Ricky Smith all of Murfreesboro, TN; aunts Mattie Thomas of Smyrna, TN, Mary Davis, Debra Russell all of Murfreesboro, TN, Pam (Doug) Thomas of Atlanta, GA; maternal grandmother Ethel Roundtree of Greenville, GA; Pathway Family; special caregivers Ms. Malinda Marshall, Bro. Michael Smith and Gary Mason, other relatives, family and friends.
