Obituary For Elaine Lynch Nalls

Sewell Mortuary in Grantiville GA, respectfully announces the passing of Elaine Nalls.

Funeral is scheduled for Wednesday August 9th, 1:00 pm at St. Paul AME Church 301 Poplar St. Hogansville GA.

Elaine Lynch Nalls was born November 20, 1954, to the late Lucille Lynch.

Elaine was educated in Hogansville High School and graduated in 1972. She joined the St. Paul AME Church at a very early age and was active in the choir as well as Sunday School. Elaine, known to many as “Soul Sista,” enjoyed her life and people and live her life to the fullest!

She was a beautiful lady, generous, happy, straight forward, and a very fun person. She loved her children, especially her grandchildren and the apple of her eye was her son, Corey and wife Mellisa! She touch so many lives in so many ways!

She leaves to cherish and carry on her memory: her only son, Corey D. Lynch and wife Mellisa of Riverdale, GA; grandchildren, Alahne, Corey Jr., Devarus, Britney, JaMes, Austin, Clisha and a great-granddaughter, Aubrey.

Elaine was employed by Atlanta Transit Marta as a bus driver for several years. She was wed to the late Jerome Nalls. She’s preceded in death by her mother Lucille, and her brothers, Larry and Herman Lee Lynch.

She also leaves to cherish and carry on her memory: one nephew, Larry A. Lynch; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
