Obituary For Elvenia Arnold

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Elvenia Arnold on July 18th, 2020.

Graveside Service will be July 25th, 2020, at 12:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery Newnan GA.

We ask that masks be worn.

Mrs. Elvenia Arnold was born to the late James Hill and Lillie B. (Shephard) Hill.

Elvenia was happily married to the late George Arnold. At an early age she joined Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. She believed in Jesus Christ and loved music. She later joined True Light Holiness Church โ€“ Rev. Nathaniel Strickland, where she was the treasurer. She is preceded in death by J. W. Hill of Washington D.C., James Hill Jr. (Jimmy), Roosevelt Hill, Milton Hill, Edward Hill all of Newnan, GA; daughter Karen Price; sister Martha Jean Durrahof Union City, GA.

Elvenia was married to the late Marvin Shavers. Children born to them are Ingrid Calhoun, Ronald Shavers, Stephen Shavers. Elvenia leaves to mourn her passing Daisy Smith of Antioch, CA and Lewis Hill, wife Debra Hill of Hogansville, GA; son-in-law Ollice Price Sr. of New Mexico; sister-in-law Ann Hill of Newnan, GA. Elvenia leaves a legacy of love and will always be cherished in the thoughts of her grandchildren: Eric Calhoun, Tracy, Ronald Jr. and Tonia, Stephanie, Sandra Shavers and Kevin, Ollice Price Jr. and Cherita Price; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; Special Regards to the Late George Arnold and Family.
