Obituary For Gary Henry

K. K. Sewell Funeral Home in Manchester respectfully announces the passing of Gary Henry on 11-6-2017.

Funeral service: Saturday, November 11, 2017 1:00 p.m. Arbor Chapel United Methodist Church 1150 Arbor Chapel Road Warm Springs, Georgia 31830

Visitation is Friday at the funeral home from 11 to 6 pm.

INTERMENT: Arbor Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery

On Monday, November 6, 2017 the almighty GOD in his infinite wisdom called home the soul of his faithful servant Gary Henry. Gary was born August 7, 1962 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Joe and Tommie Frank Henry in Meriwether County. He accepted Christ at an early age at Arbor Chapel United Methodist Church where he served as a faithful member until his health failed. He is preceded in death by Hope Henry, Jerome Henry, Viola Daniels and Gary Lamar Henry Jr.

He was the 15th child of 17 siblings. Gary graduated from Greenville High School with the Class of 1982. On June 9, 2000 he married Trena Shields and to this Union 2 children was born, Ceon Shields and Gary Lamar Henry Jr. Also 1 loving Step-daughter, Tina Tanner. Gary was employed with Meriwether County Sheriff Department where he retired in 2012. He leaves to mourn Ralph (Rosa Lee) Joann Harris, Joe Frank (Donna), Carolyn Woods (Willie), Dorothy Walker, James (Gracinia), Mozelle Lyons, Henry(Gloria), Larry (Jenny), Shirley Baker (Charles), Calvin (Myra), Vance (Renee), Brenda (Edward), Curtis (Shelia) Rose William; 4 Grandchildren; A Host of Nieces and Nephews. He also leaves to mourn a special Friend Angela Colton.
