Obituary For John F. Kendall

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of John F. Kendall on January 11th, 2022.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 PM on Friday the 14th, at Sewell Mortuary.

Funeral service will be on January 15th, at 12 PM at New Hope AME on Al Roberts Rd. Senoia Ga.

Mr. John Frank Kendall was born December 8, 1951 in Luthersville, Meriwether County, Georgia to the late Jerry Lee Kendall Sr. and Martha Ann Kendall. He entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

John was educated in the Coweta County Public School System and graduated from Central High School, Newnan, Georgia in 1970. Shortly after graduating from high school, he joined the United States Army and served for approximately 18 years.

He joined the New Hope A. M.E Church at an early age and worked faithfully until he enlisted into the Army. After serving his country overseas and in various states, he returned to Georgia and continued his membership at New Hope. He was a faithful tither until his death.

John leaves to cherish his memories two sons: Johnny Walker and Eric Gibbs; three grandchildren, Nikita Walker, Johnathon Walker, and Terrance Tinch; eight great- grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Augusta Kendall; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Bennie Kendall, Willie Kendall and Jerry Kendall; and sister, Girldina Gooch.

    I am so sorry to hear of John passing I had been trying to reach him for, so decided to search once more. To my heartfelt, I was surprised to leared he passed away. My condolences to his family there is nothing else left to say. I knew him in Germany very well I was glad to know that he was a servant of God.

    Sending my Condolences to my brother and Johnny Frank's family. I remember the visits when he come to see my brother. He wore that Military suit very proud. That inspired me. He will be missed dearly. Rest well.

    I would like to thank my cousin Bro. for the hard work and support he gave me to help serve the community during our times with the food pantry. He never said no when I asked him to serve. Bro was a true blessing and I will miss him dearly. ❤️🙏🏽
