Obituary For Josey Rosser

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Josey Rosser on Tuesday, July 28th, 2020.

Visitation will be August the 2nd, from 5 to 7 PM at Sewell Mortuary.

Graveside service will be August 3rd, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church in Luthersville.

Josie Rosser was born August 21 1938 to the late Mary Lizza and Joe Render She departed this life on July 28 2020. Josie attended school in the Meriwether County School System She worked at Humana Hospital in Newnan, Georgia for 20 years Josie had a passion for cooking and serving her community She cooked for the Greenville County Sheriff Department for over 10 years She also used her love for cooking in her church, Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church She had a wonderful sense of humor and would always say something that would make you laugh She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, and sister.

Josie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rosser her children, Geraldine Harden (Larry) Mary E Rosser (Marvin) Eddie Jean Hill granddaughter, Blane Hill Rosser siblings, Orlando Render, Julia Mae Taylor, Johnny Mae Clements, Georgia Mae Scott, Ed Bee Render, Eddie Lee Render, Eddie Moss Render

Josie leaves to cherish her memories one son, Lilton Hill, Jr. (Angela); three sisters, Mae Francis Lovett, Sally Mae Strozier, and Mattie Mae Render eight grandchildren, Freddrick Ellis, Samantha Willoby (Bobby) Michael Hill (Cicely), Edward Daniel III (Christy) Cornelius Harden, Dajaun Harden (Cheree), Shemonica Rosser, Pam Israel host of great grandkids, nieces and nephews special friend, Emitt Hardnett
