With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Kathy A. Brittain on April 20th, 2020.

Graveside service will be Friday the 24th, 2:00 PM at Mt Calvary Baptist Church in Moreland.

Sister Kathy Ann Brittian was born to Sister Mattie Kate (Brooks) Reid and the Late Brother Phillip Reid on February 27, 1959 in Coweta County, GA.

She became a baptized believer through the preaching of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ under the leadership of Bishop Eugene Rice. A praying woman, Kathy was devoted member of the Pentecostal Church of God, as she continued her journey through the leader of Bishop James Stoudermire. She was a dedicated sister and mother who was faithful and fought a good fight until peacefully in her sleep she went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2020 at her home in Jonesboro, GA.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mattie Kate Reid, two sons, Deacon Phillip (Shawanna Gilliom) Brittian, David Brittain, and one daughter, Katrena Brittian and two grandsons, Mason Brittian and Andrew Young, and one granddaughter, Kiannah Brittian, and three adopted grandsons, Andricose, Zaqkerius and Amarion Young. One daughter, Tinisha Brittian, preceded her in death. Also remembering her fondly are her siblings Roger (Ruby) Reid, Jerry (Brenda) Reid, Elaine (Harold) Crafter, Terry (LaWanda) Reid and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
