Obituary For Lavonia "Pig" White

Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Lavonia "Pig" White on February 11th, 2019.

Funeral Service is February 16th, 2019, 1:00 pm at Westside Church of Christ in Newnan Ga.

Lavonia (Pig) White was born July 3 1938 to Curtis and Elbonie White.

She was educated in Coweta County School System. Never met a stranger, always willing to help anyone in need. Loved to cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Elbonie White; three sisters, Morris, Annie Mae and Vivian; two brothers, Willie White and Travis White; two sons, Frank (Jim) and Calvin (Red Bone). She loved the Lord, after hearing the gospel. She was added to the Lord’s church at Westside Church of Christ where she worshipped until being called home. Her life was a living testimony of what the Lord can do.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Son, Ernest (Spacey) Onevious; grandson, Ernest (Dinky) Parks; granddaughter, Tonya White; five great grandchildren, Melvin B. Stargell, Tony B. Stargell, Eureka Fletcher, Oreanna Stargell and Zayvion Parks; two great great grandchildren, Melanie Ford and Melvin Stargell III (Tre); grandchildren by love, Saveyon (Quez) Cook, Jessica Johnson, Jesica Burks; great granddaughter, Kassidy Jackson; two sisters, Ossie Jean Ragland, Elizabeth White; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and special daycare boys who call her Miss Granny.

A special thanks to Amedisys Home Health, Freseius Dialysis Center and Crown Home Health.
