Obituary For MacArthur Hamilton

Mr. MacArthur Hamilton was born January 17, 1950 in Coweta County Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Perry Hamilton Sr. (Ollie). MacArthur lived a full and productive life. He truly enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. MacArthur was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He departed this life on Wednesday February 19, 2020 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

MacArthur was married to Betty Jean (Neal) Hamilton and to this union, four children were born.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Mr. and Mrs. Michael Neal (Kim), Mr. and Mrs. Pamela Robinson (Willie), Latricia Hamilton, Anthosia Hamilton (fiancé Marcus Cook), Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Stepp (Tracy), Mr. and Mrs. Chaners (Stepp) Jackson (Eric), Latasha Cameron (Dwayne), Miki Randall -Swindle. His siblings: Perry Hamilton (Debra), Patrick Hamilton (Tawanna), Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hamilton (Elaine), Mr. and Mrs. Bernice Render (Preston). MacArthur has 23 grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He has two living uncles: Jessie Roy Gates and Ernest Hamilton, Jr. Preceding him in death: Willie James Sewell (brother), Thelma Calhoun Foster (sister), Robert Edward Hamilton (brother), Bobby Ann Hamilton Green (sister), Larry Lamar Hamilton (brother).

Funeral Service will be Monday the 24th, 1:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church 4036 Corinth Rd. in Newnan.

Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 4 PM at the funeral home.
