Obituary For Otis Beasley

Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Otis Beasley on September 10th, 2018.

Funeral service is Saturday 9/15/18 2:30 pm at True Gospel Deliverance 5711 highway 100 Hogansville Ga. 30230

Visitation is Friday 9-14-18 from 5 to 7 pm at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville.

INTERMENT: True Gospel Deliverance Church Cemetery

Mr. Otis Beasley Jr. departed this earthly life on September 10, 2018, at the age of 86. he was born on July 11, 1932 to the late Vera Mae Beasley and Otis Beasley Sr. of Meriwether County.

Mr. Beasley was known as a hard worker. He worked as a dairy farmer for over thirty years. He later retired from Lone Oak Tree Farm. He will always be remembered for his giving and gentle spirit. He was a lover of outdoors, gardening and enjoyed family. He served as a deacon at True Gospel Deliverance, where he was a faithful member.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Juanita Hines Beasley; daughter, Ester; his parents, Vera Mae and Otis Beasley, Sr.; four brothers, Charlie, Bobby Lee, Homer Lee, Gene; two sisters, Melinda and Inet.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Fannie Mae and Rosa Mae; sons, Marvin Beasley and Kenny Beasley; special granddaughter and caregivers, Shemika Beasley (Tamara); grandchildren, LaSwann Beasley (Danielle), Sirderia Beasley (Nyshunda), Anthony Beasley (LaTonya), Ktonya Dunlap (Ralph), Kendra Satterwhite (Reginald), Latrich Bridges (Tammy), Kendall Slaton, and Arianna Rosser; great grandchildren, Jayden, Jace, Kaden, Kasen, Reginald Satterwhite II (RJ); special niece, Margaret Jones; special nephews, Timothy Colton (Kwannesha), Horace and Lee Lee; seventeen great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Lydia (Charlie) Matthews, Catherine Colton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special friends, Alonzo Prather, Al Simpson, Effie Cotton and Linda Parham.
