Obituary For Sherry Parham

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Sherry Parham on Friday, February 21st, 2020.

Funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, March 1st, 2020, 3:00 PM at Summer Hill Baptist Church 95 Turkey Creek Rd Newnan Ga.

Family History

Sherry Jean Parham (53) was born on March 28, 1966, to the late Leon and Gracie Holt. She departed this life on February 21, 2020. She was preceded in death by her brothers Curtis Holt, Eddie Holt, Johnny Holt, and her niece, Keonshae Holt. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Danny Parham; two sons, Darryl Ogletree, Jr. and Jarvis (Sacona) Ogletree; one daughter Shantika Ogletree; and two grandsons, Taylor and Grayson Ogletree; three brothers, Eugene Holt, Randy (Babbie) Holt, Kenneth Holt; two sisters, Shirley (Joe Lewis) Reeves, and Pamela (Stevie) McGill; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The Adventure of Sherry Parham

Mrs. Sherry attended Woodbury High School, graduating in the top three of her class of 1984. She attended technical school and became certified in Office Administration. Mrs. Sherry enjoyed her career as a secretary/bookkeeper for Meriwether County Schools before retiring. Throughout the community, she was a dedicated leader and volunteer whose smile touched all. She was a loyal member of ReBorn, a volunteer for the annual Give Back Day event, a member of Cane Creek Missionary Baptist Church, the creator and hostess of the annual Baptist Hill Community Trunk or Treat Festival, and a Let It Shine volunteer. A mother to the motherless and a comforter to many, Mrs. Sherry diligently served the community and the kingdom of God.
