Obituary For Timothy Cook

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Timothy Cook on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020.

Graveside service will be Sunday, June 28th, 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Newnan Ga

Visitation is Saturday from 12 to 2 pm at Sewell Mortuary.

Timothy Cook was born on August 30, 1961 to the late Glover and Rosa Cook.

Tim graduated with many life accomplishments. He attended and graduated from Newnan High School. Tim obtained an Associate Degree in Art. He served his country in the United States Navy. He also served proudly in the army for God. On June 23, 2020 from his home surrounded by those that love him, Tim began a new season where he shall now spend one thousand years with the one who loves him most, Our God and Father.

Timothy leaves to cherish his loving devoted wife Valerie Hamilton Cook; 3 daughters: Andreka (Anthony), Tamara Cook and Lafonda Hamilton; 5 grandchildren Sveyon, Nakhi, Deangelo, Roger and Zariah; 1 sister, Geneva Gilstrap; 2 brothers, Lamar Cook (Amy), and Johnny Cook (Mary); a mother-in-law, Louise Hamilton; 3 sister-in-laws Paula Hamilton (Dean Morris), Maria Ester and Ola Tremount; 1 brother-in-law, Tyronne (Glennis) Powell; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. His son Timijen Glass, and sister Charlotte Roberts preceded him in death.
