Obituary For Tyrone McDowell

With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Tyrone McDowell on November 20th, 2020.

Graveside service will be Friday the 27th, 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden in Newnan, Ga.

Visitation is Friday the 27th, from 12 to 1 PM prior to the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden.

Tyrone McDowell was born on November 30th, 1953 to Ezell McDowell Sr. and Bobbie Buchanan McDowell in Atlanta, Georgia. Tyrone McDowell departed life on Friday, November 20th, 2020. Tyrone was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a comic book enthusiast and often had vivid dreams of being a Superhero. Now he is a Superhero in heaven, watching over all of his loved ones.

Tyrone loved watching sports, drawing and telling jokes. McDowells are different, and Tyrone was no exception. His uniqueness made him special. He may have seemed quiet, but to those that knew him, he would talk non-stop. He had such a caring personality that would help anyone in need. He was an incredible person that cared deeply about his family and friends. We will surely miss Tyrone.

To Cherish His Memory Tyrone leaves behind one daughter, Barbara Monique McDowell; two step-daughters, LaShedia Maria Moore and LeShedia Marie Bussie; his buddy, Gwen-Cindy Davis; and niece, Kim McDowell. Tyrone has one remaining sibling, Ezell McDowell Jr. Tyrone had five siblings that preceded him in his departure; Homer Brantley, Arthur McDowell, Marvin McDowell, Anthony McDowell, and Alice Davis. He has nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends that love him dearly.
