Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Warner Parks Jr. on September 7th, 2019.

Funeral Service is September 14th, 12:00 pm at Branch Hebron Baptist Church.

Visitation is Friday, September 13th from 4 to 6 pm at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville.

Mr. Warner Parks, Jr., son of the late Warner Parks Sr. and Juanita Lakes Parks was born November 4, 1958. He departed his life on September 7, 2019.

He was a member of Arbor Chapel AME Church. He and his brothers started a band called the Revolution in the early 1980s. He was united into holy matrimony to Brenda (Cook) Parks from Newnan, GA in June 1981 in which two children were born. Warner Mandrell Parks Jr. and Felicia Tashira Parks. Brenda and Warner both worked in healthcare. Brenda proceeded him in death on August 25, 1995.

His brother Robert Lewis Parks proceeded him in death in 2001. He leaves to cherish his memory, Warner Mandrell Parks Jr. (Atlanta, GA) and Felicia Tashira Parks (Atlanta, GA); Seven grandchildren: Courtney Elizabeth Alexander, Kivonte Chatman, Kh’lan Jones, Travis Duffy Jr., Tyler Duffy, Treasure Duffy and Rickey Warner Mandrell Parks. Three sisters, Gwendolyn Parks, Daisey Bussey and Alma Dudley; all of Greenville, GA. Four brothers Bobby Parks, Freddie Parks, Larry (Renea) Parks; all of Greenville, GA and Curtis (Jackie) Bussey (LaGrange, GA). One brother-in-law, Demarcus Cook, (Newnan, GA); Five sisters-inlaw, Renae Parks (Greenville, GA), Jackie Bussey (LaGrange, GA), Martha Cook (Newnan, GA), Cheryl Cook (Atlanta, GA) and Gayla Mitchell (Newnan, GA). A longtime fiancé Carolyn McQueen (West Point, GA). A special niece Talecia Parks (Peachtree City, GA) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
