With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Anthony McGhee on August 3rd, 2020.

Graveside service will be held August 17th, at 12:00 PM at Branch Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery

Mr. Anthony Lamar McGhee Sr. affectionately known as "Head" was born August 27, 1965 to Mr. William "Shane" Tiggs and the late Mrs. Daisy McGhee Brown in Meriwether County, Georgia.

He joined Branch Hebron Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Greenville High School. He was a good chess player and loved Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls.

On Monday August 3, 2020, our beloved "Head" departed this life at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. Anthony's mother Mrs. Daisy Brown and his son AJ preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father Shane Tiggs; 3 children Andre Lovett, Beanca Davis and Antionette Davis; 6 brothers Allen (Annette) Brown, Timothy (Veronica) Brown, Albenjamin (Tharonda) Brown, Travis Brown, Kent Tiggs and Mike Woodard; 1 sister Teresa Tiggs; 9 grandchildren; special niece Timaya Brown; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
