K.K. Sewell Funeral Home In Manchester GA, respectfully announces the passing of Barnette Searcy on August 8th, 2016

Once again an angel was dispersed from heaven on Monday, August 1, 2016 and sealed the lips of a loving mother, sister, niece and friend. Those who knew her best, knew her as "B". Her lifestyle touched many in her community and her legacy will live in their hearts forever.

Ms. Barnette Searcy was born March 12, 1948 to the late Eddie and Lillian Searcy. At an early age she joined Shady Grove Baptist Church. Barnette had one child to precede her in death, Pamela J. Searcy. "B" was renowned for her famous neighborhood parties and celebrations.

Those left to treasure her memories and unconditional love are three devoted children: Kent (Exzeter) Searcy, Taneshia Searcy and April (Stanley) Childs all of Talbotton, Georgia; six grandchildren: Kenchelevis, Zai Dion, Kenyanda, Xavier, Kainin, and Nigel; five great grandchildren; three special aunts: Evangleist Catherine Howard, Mary Lynn (Ike) Benney and Gladys Gaines all of Talbotton, Georgia; and a host of adopted grandkids, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She also leaves two dear friends: Ms. Mary Willis and Mr. Vinson Trice.
