Mrs. Bertha Mae Strozier (Tea) was born August 28, 1928 to the late Addis and Dovia Godwin in Meriwether County, Georgia. Tea resided in Odessadale, Georgia.

Quietly and peaceful she departed this earthly realm and entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at her home.

Tea was a loving and very kind person, always having a smile and never meeting a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Strozier, seven sisters and two brothers.

She joined Branch Hebron at an early age.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Jacqueline (John) Gates of LaGrange, GA; one son, Grady (Hattie) Strozier of Greenville, GA; a very special friend, Johnnie C. McGruder; nine grandkids, seventeen great grandkids and nine great great grandkids; a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
