Bessie Menefee passed Sunday 3-6-16.

Funeral service is Saturday 10:00 AM at Mt. Venus Baptist Church Gay, GA.

Vistation is Friday 10am-7pm at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville GA.

Bessie Louise Menefee was born December 23, 1936 to the late Ulysses and Cora Belle Tucker. She departed this life on March 6, 2016.

Bessie was a devoted wife to her late husband, Andrew Menefee. She was also a loving sister and aunt. Although she did not have children of her own, Bessie was a mother to many.

Bessie leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Essie Perdue and Eula (James) Jones; five brothers Frank (Hyson) Tucker, Robert (Mae) Tucker, John (Veleeda) Tucker, Albert Hall, and Abraam Hall. Bessie had one sister, Christine Valentine, to precede her in death. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends to cherish her memories.
