Betty Ann Williams was born November 22, 1951 in Raleigh, Georgia to the late Annie Bell White Hixson and Lucius Hixson, Sr. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

She joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at an early age and then moved her membership to Leverette Hill Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health declined.

Betty was a loving caregiver. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with her family. If you ever crossed paths with Betty, you knew you had a mother, a friend, and a nurse. If you ever visited Betty's home, you knew you could eat a good, home-cooked meal. If you ever needed a laugh, Betty always had a joke or funny story to tell. She will always be remembered as the backbone of her family.

She was preceded in death by three sisters Fannie Middlebrooks, Annie Ruth Mays, and Evelyn Lawrence and one brother, Lucius Hixson, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Bennie L. Williams of Warm Springs, GA; three loving daughters Teresa Olaluwoye of Warm Springs, GA, Vickie Harris of Buford, South Carolina, and Aetavia Williams of Columbus, GA; one sister, Veola Jackson of Warm Springs, GA; four sister-n-laws, Alice Hixson, Alzidia Hunt, and Clotee Copeland all of Columbus, GA and Johnnie Mae Hixson of LaGrange, GA; one brother-n-law Frank Middlebrooks of College Parks, GA; four grandchildren, Chezzy Williams (Armiee) of LaGrange, GA, Antrovious Ferguson of Columbus, GA, LaVincent Harris of Warm Springs, GA, and LaShonda Harris of LaGrange, GA; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom loved her very much.
