With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Brenda Rosser on December 7th, 2024.

The funeral service will held on Saturday December 14th at 1 PM at White Plains United Methodist Church in Hogansville GA.

There will be a viewing on Friday, December 13th, from 4 to 7 PM at the mortuary.

Brenda was born on September 13, 1957, in Meriwether County, GA.to the late Laura Bell Lesley and Willard (Philp) Derring. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and carried her love of God and her faith until she was called home on December 07, 2024, at West Georgia Hospice, Lagrange GA surrounded by her family.

Brenda received her education from Greenville High School in Greenville, GA. She also took courses at West Gorgia Technical College. Brenda was a faithful member and servant of White Plains United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. She enjoyed singing, clapping, rocking, and praising the Lord through song.

Proceeding her in death are, parents Laura Bell Lesley, Williard Derring and Raymond Lesley Sr., brothers Frederick Derring, Raymond Lesley Jr., and Lonzia Derring. She is survived by her children Tawanna Rosser, Brodrick Rosser, Shalonda (Jonathan) Maynard, Shamonica (Ryan) Caldwell. Grandchildren Devin Rosser, Yasmin (Quantavis) Kidd, JaQuai Rosser, Dazjhnae (DaQuan) Ausbrooks, Kevon Spellman, Kenya Goldwire, and JahRyan Caldwell. Sisters Cynthia (late Johnny) Bussey, and Debra Lesley. Brothers Earnest (Jackie) Derring, Tylus Lesley and William Brown. A host of great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special friend Willie Mae Scott and special cousin/sister/best friend Sharon(Buck) Bussey.
