With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Brenda Slaton on June 19th, 2021.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday the 26th, at 11:00 AM at Sewell Mortuary chapel.

Brenda Joyce Slaton was born on December 27, 1961 to the late Osie & Opal Lee Slaton in Woodbury GA. She spent her early life & teenage years there. She resided in Luthersville, GA for the remainder of life.

She worked for the Meriwether County School system for many years as a Custodian upon retiring.

She was preceded in death by her parents & 4 brothers; Joe Slaton, Jerry Slaton, Gary Slaton, & Walter Larry Slaton.

She is survived by her 2 children, Mr. Jeremy Slaton (Porschia) of Grantville, GA & Mrs. Jermeka Prince (Antwain) of Newnan, GA 2 Siblings; Wesley Jerome Slaton (Elizabeth) of Luthersville, GA & Barbara (Otis) Turner of Newnan, GA. Five grandchildren: Jermoreon Slaton Ada Fears Amos Slaton Ayden Slaton Landen Prince Host of nieces & nephews, & a very special friend, Ms. Evelyn Marshall.
