Brenda Kay Swindle was born November 16, 1960 to the late Audrey Swindle and Ola Mae Houston of Grantville, Georgia. She received her formal education through the Coweta County School System.

Brenda displayed her love for God at an early age when she joined Greater Jehovah Baptist Church in Grantville, Georgia.

She was employed with the Coweta County School System until she succumbed to complications fro inflammatory breast cancer on August 29, 2015. She is preceded in death by her sister, Judy L. Stevens and nephew, Michael Colton.

Brenda touched the lives of many and leaves behind loved ones including the love of her life, Stanley Hinton of Newnan, GA; children, Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Colton (Bridget), Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Whatley (Patrice), Mr. and Mrs. Prince Derring (Shawanna), Caprella Swindle, Jeremy Swindle, Shameka Swindle, Cynithia Swindle, Cierra Swindle, Jasmine Chunn, Jordan Chunn, Joshua Chunn, Brianna Swindle and Taquela Brownlee; brothers and sisters, Evelyn Rosser, Virginia Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Thompson (Barbara), Richard Swindle, Linda Swindle, Mark Houston, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Geter (Tracey), Mallonie Houston, Mr. and Mrs. Travis Houston (Tiffany), Clayton Swindle, Deborah Coleman, Gail Houston; brother-in-law, Chester I. Stephens; eleven grandkids; two great grandkids; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
