With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Cedric C. Clayton on Monday, August 21st, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be held on September 2, 2023 at 1 pm at Sewell Mortuary Chapel.

Cedric Cerbron Clayton was born to Glenis Latonia Clayton and Orlando Bernard Bailey on September 18, 1989. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Glenn Clayton and Shane Bailey; grandmother, Doris Rush; one brother, Justin (Jay) Brown.

Cedric was educated in the Coweta County Public School system. He graduated from Northgate High School in Sharpsburg, GA in May of 2008. Cedric was employed at Trader Joes in Atlanta, GA and at Jim-N-Nicks in Sharpsburg, GA where he worked in different ca- pacities.

Cedric was an individual who loved life, enjoyed hanging out with friends, loved laughing and being silly. However, there were times when he wanted his peace and quiet. The one thing he enjoyed above everything else was eating. Cedric loved good food. Last but not least, he was a true animal lover.

Cedric leaves his cherished memories to his loving Mother, Glenis Clayton and a wonderful Stepdad, Jimmy Freeman; His dad, Orlando Bernard Bailey; Grandmother, Jerline Clayton; Brothers, Jimel Freeman, Roderick Anthony, Darius Bailey, and Cortez Askew; Aunts, Virgeleen Calhoun, Aisha Clayton (favorite aunt), Alfreda Rush (favorite aunt), Valerie Hayes, Wyvette' Rush, Jody Rush, Donna Mosley, and, Bernice Green; Uncles, Andreco Rush, David Rush, Robert Davis, and Oscar Freeman; Great aunts, Lillie Jennings (Fred), Annie Jennings, Annette Dothard (Billy), and Juanita Clayton; Great-great Aunt, Olivia Hill Pinson; Great uncles, Joe Lewis Calhoun (Princess NeNe) and James Rush (Barbara Jean); Great-great Uncle, Paul Dorsey, Jr. and a host of other relatives, cousins, and friends.
