With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Christine Alford on Thursday, July 7th, 2022.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 15th, at 2 PM at Springfield Baptist Church on Carter street Greenville, Ga.

Visitation will be Thursday the 14th from 4 to 7 PM at Sewell Mortuary.

Christine was born August 1, 1952 to the late Charlie Alford Jr and Willie Mae Bray-Alford of Greenville, GA.

She is proceeded in death by her son, James Huff.

Christine leaves to mourn a close special friend, her kids father, Johnnie Kidd. Six children, Sammie Lee Huff (Tedra), Johnnie Kidd Jr, Barbara Ann Kidd, Erica Latrell Reeves (Quentin), Travis Juan Kidd, and Sherri Latessyca Cook (Cortez). Four sisters, Geneva Bray, Magalene Clements (Ben), Debra Alford, Tracy Overton (Rick). Four brothers Eddie George Alford, Bobby Alford, Larry Alford and Lee Mack Robinson. Fifteen grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends who loved her dearly.
