With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Christine McKee-Stinson on January 25th, 2023.
The funeral service will be on February 4th, 2023 at 1 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church on Goldmine Road in Grantville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on February 3rd at Sewell Mortuary.
A time to be born on April 23,1941 was blessed. To the late parents Willis & Emma Mckee in Meriwether County.

A time to accept Christ Jesus at an early age at C.M.E Church in Durand Ga. Later a member of the House of High Time Apostolic Church under the leadership of the late pastor Lillian Mckee Cobb and pastor Homer Mckee until their health failed.
She was married to the late Charlie Stinson. In 1960 She married Jerry Jenkins and had two children Michael and Wilmina Jenkins. She was employed at Nabisco for several years. She was known for her cooking and inviting everyone over for dinner. Mrs. Cristine was not a stranger to anyone. If you know Mrs. Christine, you know she was a very lovable mother, sister, grandmother and auntie. Before her health decline Mrs. Christine loved to fish and shop.
She cherish her memories two children Michael Jenkins of Hogansville Ga, Wilmina and Kirby Reed of Hogansville Ga. She also cherished a grandson that she loved dearly and he loved her dearly Danyez Hines of Hogansville. She has fourteen caring and loving grandchildren Danyez Hines, Christian Hines, Joshua Patrick Kirmyia (Skye) Reed, Shelby Jenkins, Shonnon Jenkins, Dyon Jenkins, Jaquvious Cameron, Michael Jenkins Jr, Ma'Kylah Jenkins, Deandre Cameron, Myeshia Curry, Jemi Reed, Matthew Sinagil and a host of Great Grandchildren. Special Friends Mrs. Rosie Prather, Mrs. Evelyn Anderson, And Mr.Mario Allen. 7 Sisters and 3 Brothers. The late Willis Mckee Jr, Euyless Mckee, and Homer Mckee and the late Lucendia Dean, Mattie (Bell) Dean, Eugenia (Polly) Mckee, Lillian. Mckee Cobb. She leaves here Tommie (Sis) Brown, Angle and Sylvester Shermon Corene and Willie Blount.
