With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Clarence Sinkfield age 68 on September 27th, 2024.

Funeral service will be held on October 5th at 2 PM at Mt Sinai Baptist Church on Mt Carmel Road in Gay Georgia.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on October 4th at Sewell Mortuary.

On August 22, 1956, a beautiful baby boy was born with the given name of Clarence "Sank" Sinkfield to the late Cleophus Hardaway, Jr. and the late Louise Sinkfield Hardaway in Meriwether County.

Brother Sinkfield worked numerous jobs but his main expertise was in trucking as a truck driver of 18 wheelers and dump trucks. Later on, in life he started working with jobs such as APAC who later became CW Matthews that lead to his retirement.

At an early age in life he joined the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Gay, Ga.

Brother Sinkfield departed his life on September 27, 2024. He was proceeded in death by (3 children): Twins- Willie Lee, Bobby Lee, and Reginald Sinkfield (2 stepchildren): Fannie Pearl and Charlie Evans; (dad and mom) Cleophus, Jr and Louise Hardaway; (sister) Earnestine Hardaway; (brother) Melvin Hardaway; (aunt) Ella Ree Sinkfield; (uncles) Joe Lewis and Johnny Sinkfield; (grandparents) late Willie and late Heniretta Williams Sinkfield.

Leaving to mourn is his (wife), Fannie Mae Sinkfield; (son) Clarence Dewayne (Linda) Sinkfield; (daughters) Louise Denise Sinkfield and Aletha Sinkfield; (stepchildren) Marva Sinkfield, Kenneth Evans, and Tonya White. 18 Grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren; (sister) Vernell Hardaway; (sister) Cynthia (Timothy) Baker; (brother) Clinton (Mary) Hardaway; (sister) Marion (Carl) Sewell; (sister) Dianne McGill; (brother) Bruce Sinkfield; (brother) Cuba (Melinda) Sinkfield; (aunt) Reva (Wesley) Favors; (uncle) Willie, Jr (Gladys) Sinkfield; (uncle) Arthur Sinkfield; Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special close friends: Shedrick Elom, Jerry Hand, and Marcus Caldwell.
