With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Danny Sewell on Thursday June 20th, 2019.

Funeral Service is Sunday 6/23/19 at 2:00 pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Luthersville Ga

Visitation is Saturday 6/22/19 from 1-4 pm at the funeral home.

Danny Sewell was born March 25, 1965 to Mr. and Mrs. Ector Sewell (Laura) in the Luthersville Community. He was the fifth child to be born or ten. He had three sisters to precede him in death.

At an early age, he joined Zion Hill Baptist Church. He served on the City Council in Luthersville, Georgia for many years. He worked for Royal Molding and Yamaha until his health failed. He was a well known D J who was known as DJ "Danny Get Down."

He leaves to cherish his memory a faithful loving father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ector Sewell (Laura); one sister, Betty Bilal (Peggy); five brothers, Ector Jr., Carl, Charlie (Evelyn), Mark and Alex; daughter, Concetta Amey; son, Danny Sewell Jr.; one grandson, Or'mon; eight aunts and four uncles; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
