Deacon Larry Hardnett was born May 26, 1952 in Talbot County, Georgia, the son of the late Hanoon and Mattie Turner hardnett. While at Emory University Hospital, He was called to his eternal home on April 30, 2015.
Larry was a graduate of Ruth Carter High School, Talbotton, Georgia.
Larry was employed at Sprulin Industries. He had previously worked at Goody/Newell Rubbermaid and at WVFJ/WFDR Radio Stations.
He joined the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully as a deacon for thirty-six years. He also was a member of the male choir and other choirs until his health failed.
Larry Met and was united in marriage to Mae Francis Jarrett-Hardnett and to this union three children were born. One preceded him in death (Larry Levar Hardnet).
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Mae France Hardnett; his children, Felicia Hardnett, Sophis Henderson (Sherman) Shiloh, GA, Derrick Jenkins (Monica) Newnan, GA, Tyson and Tyla Carter, Thomaston, GA; a grandson, Gerald Hardnett, Shiloh, GA; two siblings, Johnny (Elaine) Hardnett,Shiloh, Ga, Jennie (Eugene) Watson, Manchester, GA; three sister-in-laws, Dorothy (Amos) Pruitt, Pine Mountain Valley, GA, Geraldine Jarrett, East Point, GA, Gwendolyn Jarrett, Shiloh, GA; three brother-in-laws, Lonnie Jarrett, Ellenwood, GA, Gerald Jarrett (Brenda) Pine Mountain, GA, Donald Jarrett (Brenda) Shiloh, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and devoted friends.
