Ms. Debra Sharon Stargell Roberson was born on June 23, 1958 to the late Woodrow and Ruby Lee Stargell in Gay, GA. She was the youngest of fourteen children born to Woodrow and Ruby Lee. On August 27, 2016, Debra went home to be with the Lord.
Debra had two passions in life- Her daughters and cooking. She was very proud of her two girls whom she was blessed with during her marriage to Ralph Hill. She loved them dearly. When it came to cooking, she could whip up a meal in no time flat and it was always enough to feed an army.
She was an avid shopper as well. Her favorite stores were Macy's and Value Village. Value Village in particular because she was a HUGE fan of "thrift shopping."
She was preceded in death by her parents Woodrow and Ruby Lee Stargell; six brothers Woodrow Stargell (Pop), Henry Stargell, Joe Stargell, Rozell Stargell, Vinson Stargell (Soup), and Bennett Stargell; four sisters Emma Jean Holland, Opal Lee Harris, Ruby Alford and Nadine Stargell.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters LaToya Parks (Shawn) and Courtney Hill; four granddaughters Jasmine Simone Hill, Jameciya Mi'Shunn Parks, Ajsha Shunterria Bell (Deontae) and Jordan Shania Taylor; One grandson Shawn Everette Parks Jr; three great grandchildren Kameron Izaiah Hill, Addison Marie Bell and King Josiah Parks; three brothers Royce Stargell of Ellenwood, Winston Stargell of Atlanta and Dale Stargell (Josephine) of Greenville; one special nephew Larry Stargell (Grace) of Greenville and three special Nieces, Bernice Brightman (Ed) of Atlanta, Ruby Jean Williams (Xavier) of Rex and Roger Mae Adams of Ellenwood; And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
