Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Donnie C. Bell on January 23rd, 2019.
Funeral service is January 27th, 2:00 PM at Clark Chapel United Methodist Church in Luthersville Georgia.
Visitation Is on the 26th, from 4 to 6 PM at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville.
Donnie was born on January 3, 1966, in Coweta County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Willie George (Jonelle) Bell; and Mr. & Mrs. Floyd (Mary) Harris. He loved his family dearly and was a dear friend to many. He had a unique sense of humor that brought laughter and joy that impacted so many lives. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends whether he was visiting or talking on the phone. He was very caring and selfless, always showing his outward expression of unconditional love for his daughter, sons, grandchildren, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. There's no doubt Donnie's heart was for his family and friends.
Donnie was educated in the Meriwether County School System. He was a believer of Jesus Christ and accepted him as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a member of Clark Chapel United Methodist Church. Donnie was employed at Tredegar Corporation a/k/a Bonnell Aluminum for over 20 years.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Lonnie; grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Willie Edward (Dorothy) Bussie, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas (Lena) Bell, Mr. & Mrs. Arthur (Lucille) Harris.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Connie Bell; four loving and devoted children: daughter, Jawanna Bell; sons, Mr. & Mrs. Aldophus (Kenyanna) Amey, Mr. & Mrs. Derrius (Imani) Bell and DeMarkus Bell; seven grandchildren: Al'Lexia, Ezra, Alexander, Anilah, Elijah, Kingston and Alaya.; sisters: loving and devoted caregiver, Reverend & Mrs. Julian (Vanessa) Warner; Mr. & Mrs. Paul (Demetrice) Foster; four brothers: Mr. & Mrs. Dandy (Pamela) Harris, Deltiwon Harris, Mr. & Mrs. Richard (Jean) Harris, and Mr. & Mrs. Willie Floyd (Diane) Harris; sister-in-law: Tracey Mitchell; aunts and uncles: Mrs. Gladys Bell, Mr. & Mrs. James (Doris) Spear, Ms. Vera Bussie, Ms. Stephanie Bussie, Mr. & Mrs. Terry (Tonja) Reese, Mr. Melvin Bussie, Mr. Willie Bussie, Mr. James Bussie, Mr. & Mrs. Rayford Bussie, Mrs. Margie Alexander, Ms. Ruby Nell Bell, Mr. Maxie Bell, Ms. Linda Sue Bell, Mr. & Mrs. Elijah (Annie) Brittain, Mr. & Mrs. Randy (Debra) Stevens, Ms. Sandy Strozier, Ms. Betty Mitchell, Mr. & Mrs. Rayvie Harris, Mr. & Mrs. Jerome Harris, Mr. Sylvester Harris; great aunts and uncles: Mrs. Ruby Driver, Mrs. Julia Walker, Mrs. Freddie Reese, Mr. Albert Reese, and Mr. Roger Reese; and a host of other relatives and friends.
