Funeral Service is 2/23/2018 at 12:00 pm Woodbury Miracle Fellowship Center.
Visitation at the funeral home from 12 to 6 pm 2/22/2018

Mr. Eddie Barnes was born on January 29, 1946 to the late Wilbert Barnes, Sr. and Nellie Reese Barnes.
Eddie was educated in Greenville, Georgia. He moved to Atlanta at an early age where he had a career with the William Brothers Concrete Company for over 40 years. He returned to Greenville after retirement and pursued his passion repairing cars. He was known to many as "Hoss". He was looked upon as a father figure to many, teaching them how to repair cars and providing them with words of wisdom.
His Presence will forever be felt in the hearts of his family and friends, including his beloved children: Bernice (Willie) Reeves, Will Barnes, Christopher Barnes, and Eddie Edge; his extended children, Travis (Christopher) Ingram, Octavious Barnes, Odell "Bubba" Battle, Sallie "Von" Battle, Regina (Michael) Webb; three brothers, Willie Reese (Wylene), Terry Reese (Tonjo), Randy Reese (Sharon), and three sisters, Anita Gates (William) and Bernice Burks (Willie), and Audrey Barnes. a special niece, Kalesha Barnes; a special friend, Mrs. Alma Marshall; one uncle, Benjamin (Valerie) Reese; one aunt, Lois Trotter; 13 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
