With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Eddie Ford on March 15th, 2022.

Funeral service will be Saturday March 19th, 2022 at 2 PM at Springfield Baptist Church in Greenville Ga.

Visitation will be Friday the 18th from 4 to 6 PM at Sewell Mortuary.

Eddie Charles Ford was born on April 14, 1964 in Gay, GA. to the late Jimmy Ford and Lola Mae Ford. He entered into his heavenly rest on March 15, 2022.

Eddie Ford attended Greenville High School. He was a loving, caring person with a good heart he was a dependent helpful son, husband, dad, uncle, cousin, brother, grand dad and friend to many. He would go over and beyond to help anybody. Eddie was a family man. He loved his family very much and we loved him. The type of man Eddie was is very rare. There's no one that can replace Eddie he will truly be missed.

He was employed by Pine Hill Timber Company in Greenville, GA. He was a supervisor; he worked many years as a dedicated, dependable logger. He enjoyed his job. He spoke very highly of his manager (Drew) and the owner (Edward).

Eddie accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.

Eddie Ford was united in Holy Matrimony to Deverly Ford.

Eddie Ford leaves to cherish his memory and to Celebrate his life, his mother Lola Ford; Wife Deverly Ford; One Brother Lee Ford; Four sisters Ola (Charles) Terry, Vickie (Tony) Newsome, Vera (Reginald) Mack, Lorrie (Danny) Revell; Two sons Adrian Anderson, Eddie McGhee; Three Daughters Kenya Anderson Reeves, Latisha Anderson, Iesha McGhee; A special brother Eddie C. Ford and a host of grandchildren, sister in laws, brother in laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
