With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Eddie Moreland on February 7th, 2020.

Funeral Service is Saturday, February 15th, 1:00 PM at Mt Calvary Baptist Church in Moreland Ga.

Visitation is on Friday the 14th, from 3 to 6 PM at Sewell Mortuary.

Mr. Eddie "Jim" Lewis Moreland, affectionately called Pop was born on February 15, 1944 to the late Louis and Eva Mae Watts Moreland in Turin, Georgia. On February 7, 2020 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, he departed this earthly world and entered into eternal rest.

At an early age, he joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Jim received his education through the Coweta County School System. In the early 70's, he worked as a transmission mechanic. He later became employed with Southern Bell up until his accident.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons: Gregory Moreland, Rodney Moreland and Derrick Moreland; two grandchildren: Simone Moreland and Damalas Moreland; three sisters: Hazel Dean, Dorothy Brown and Ida Grier; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly; Special friends, The Redwine Family.
