Elige Martin, Jr. was born on November 16, 1947 to the late Mr. Elige Martin Sr. and Addie Parker Martin. Elige passed away on April 10, 2018 surrounded by his family.

He went to school in Meriwether County. He retired from Complete in Gay, Georgia. He enjoyed socializing with friends and family in the community.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Brown; father and mother, Mr. & Mrs. Elige Martin Sr.; brother, Alfred Martin; sister, Annie Lois Whitehead.

He leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters; Dwan (Bobby) Parham of Woodbury, GA, Kashal (Mark) Martin of College Park, GA, Trina (John) Martin of Atlanta, GA; ten grandkids, Bianca Parham of Ft. Walton, FL, Biore Parham and Tariyah Martin of Woodbury, GA, Takayla Martin, Tarrik Martin, Miracle Shaw, Jaiden Shaw, all of Atlanta, GA, Keyasia Martin, Kamari Gissentanner and Kadyn Martin of College Park, GA; one great grandkid, Ahmir Martin of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, twin brother Lige Martin of Woodbury, GA, Rowell Martin of Warm Springs, GA; seven sisters, Hattie Martin, Veleta Martin, Ruby Martin, Alveta Walton, Louise Jones, and Addie Revell all of Woodbury, GA, Janice (Mike) Brown of Charlotte, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
