Funeral Service
Mother Eliza L. Woolfolk was born May 5, 1918, to the late Earnest and Carrie McCrorey in Meriweather County, Georgia. She was the third of eight children and the last surviving sibling. She was affectionately known as Mama Liza to family and friends because of her loving spirit and tendency to help anyone in need.
Mama Liza gave her life to Christ at a young age and joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Shiloh, Georgia where she served faithfully until her health no longer allowed her to do so. She began her career at the Warm Springs Foundation in Warm Springs, Georgia and retired after 40 loyal years of service to take care of her elderly parents.
She leaves in her legacy five children, Fred Woolfolk of Warm Springs, GA, Vivian Crawl of Shiloh, GA, Doris (Charlie) Worthen of Shiloh, GA, Marvin (Marge) Woolfolk of Atlanta, GA and Judy (Alvin) Johnson of Shiloh, GA; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special friends at the Warm Springs Nursing Home.
Mama Liza will be greatly missed by all and her loving spirit will live forever in our hearts.
