Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Frances Langford Martin August 3rd, 2018.

Funeral service will be held at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Greenville Ga August 7th, 2018, at 1:00 pm.

Visitation will be August 6th, from 1:30 pm to 7 pm at Sewell Mortuary.

Frances Langford Martin was born on October 6, 1954 to the late William and Essie Mae Langford in Meriwether County. She joined Zion Hill Baptist Church at an early age.

Frances went to Meriwether County School. She retired from East Coweta High School as a custodian after twenty years of service. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, William and Essie Langford; brother, Henry Blount; and granddaughter, Jasmine Hamilton.

Frances leaves to cherish her memories one child, Jerry Langford and she raised Jerreal (Jacee) Cammon as her own; four brothers, Leroy (Georgeann) Russell, Willie George Langford, Bishop Mack Author (Evang. Mary) Colton, Curtis (Martha) Langford; three sisters, Elizabeth (Wesley) Slaton, Ethel Langford, Johneva Gibson; one aunt, Alma (Jack) Cato; one sister-in-law, Hattie Blount; seven grandkids and eight great grandkids; special friends, Tracy Mitchell, Eula Nesbitt, David Holmes, Sandy Holmes, Robert Middlebrooks and Sabrina Clayton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
