Fred Henley III was born on September 28, 1975 to the parents of Mr. Fred Henley Jr. and Odessa L. Henley. On Wednesday, May 3, 2017 the Lord called Fred home from labor to his great reward.

Fred was educated in the Griffin-Spaulding County School System, graduating in the Class of 1996. He joined the Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in 2004 under the leadership of Pastor Gerod D. Duff.

Fred was a former employee of the University of Georgia-Griffin campus. He was a quiet and easy going person.

Fred was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred Henley Sr.; Rozzie L. Henley; Charles Lyons and Jesse Lyons.

Fred leaves to cherish his memories his parents, two siblings, Cornelius (Tracy) Lyons of Brownsville, TN and Denise (Anthony) Parks of Hampton, GA; two nephews, Cornelius V. Lyons of Brownsville, TN and Anthony D. Parks of Hampton, GA; aunts and uncles, Gilda Johnson of Atlanta, GA; Delois Henley, David McDowell both of Griffin, GA; Shirleyv(Samuel) Smith and Brenda Adams of Barnesville, GA; David Miller, Fernados Miller and Michelle Miller all of Atlanta, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
