Obituary For Gerald Bankston
With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Gerald Bankston on June 28th, 2025.
Funeral service will be Saturday, July 5th, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church, Hwy 54, Hogansville, Ga.
Public viewing will be from 5 to 7 PM Thursday July 3rd at Sewell Mortuary.

We extend our sincere condolences to the family of Dea. Gerald Bankston. Our father, the late Rev. Clinton Melson, served as pastor at Shiloh Baptist Church in Hogansville for 30+ years. I can't count the times I heard Gerald sing "Two Wings". Now he's flown away. RIH. Prayers and blessings for the family. The Melson Family.
