Mrs. Girlie B. Slaton (Nick) was born on February 6, 1953 to the late Mr. Sid Brown who preceded her in death and Mazell Brown. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories: Robert Slaton, her husband of thirty-three years; two daughters, Stephanie Brown and Melinda Brown; one son, Morris (Erica) Brown; seven sisters, Seles (Daniel) Hardaway, Gennie (Joseph) Hines, Shirley (Arthur) Hussie, Loretta (Reginald) Stinson, Linda (Johnny) Slaton, Annie Rosser, Mary (Walter) Prather; seven brothers, Sid Brown, Jr., Anthony (Shanque) Brown, Clifton B. Brown, R. B. (Louise) Brown, Larry Brown, Willie Glenn (Wanda) Rosser, Willie James (Harriette) Rosser; father-in-law, E. C. Slaton; three bother-in-laws, Eddie C. (Gloria) Slaton, Randolph Slaton and Keith Slaton; one sister-in-law, Rebecca Slaton; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friends, Rochelle Hunter, Jewel Baker, Velma Hood, Frank Hill, Brenda Rosser, Annie McGruder and Carla Colton. Girlie had one brother to precede her in death, Mr. Willie James Brown and one aunt, Eva Rosser. INTERMENT: Mount Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery
