Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Javuris Gates on January 4th, 2018.

Funeral Service Is 1/13/2018 1:30 pm at Legacy Christian Church in Senoia Ga.

Visitation is 1/12/2018 from 2 to 6 pm at Sewell Mortuary in Grantville.

God called and Javuris answered. He called January 4, 2018.

Javuris was 37 years old. He was full of life and loved by everyone. He was always the life of the party. His smile lit up the room.

Javuris was born March 25, 1980 to the parents Yvonne Gates and William Prather. He graduated from East Coweta High School. He joined Piney Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He was employed at Peachtree Bottle.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Aaron Gates and Ovenia Gates.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory, Mother, Yvonne; father, William Prather; five sisters, one special sister, Khawanda Gates, Shyvonnia Gates, Tiffany Prather, Nakeisha Alexander, Tsheika Green and Arlevia Gates; two brothers, Darrell Prather and Javarious Prather; four aunts, Dr. Ann Bowles, Resa Gates and Annie Lo Hall; two uncles Willie Frank Prather and William (Vaness) Gates; eleven nieces; ten nephews; special friends, Elton Burk and Trina Bynoe.
