With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Jeffrey Myers on April 17th, 2025.

Funeral service will be Saturday April 26, 2025 12 PM noon at Church of Atlanta Lighthouse 1380 Boulevard SE Atlanta Ga 30315.

Visitation will be April 25, 2025 for 2 to 3pm at Sewell Mortuary.

Visitation will also be held on April 26, 2025 from 11 AM to 12 PM noon prior to the service at the Church of Atlanta Lighthouse.

Jeffery Myers made his advent into this world on January 14,1977 in Atlanta Georgia. He was born to the parents of the late Walter Myers and Alice Mae Myers.

Jeff was educated in the Atlanta public school systems of Fulton County where he attended and graduated from Southside High School Class of 1995 and subsequently attended Atlanta Technical College pursing Computer Technology and Business Management. Jeff was a loving and caring person who was very ambitious and was willing to take risks to achieve financial success and prosperity. His prior education enabled him to carry on his late father's legacy of running & managing Myers Construction Company later to be re-branded as Myers & Heard Masonry Company. Jeff's entrepreneurial spirit was much more broader than construction as he would always provide investment tips on the hottest stocks, bonds, Bitcoin and the latest trends on the stock market to family members, friends, or to anyone that would listen to him.

When not at work, Jeff enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, and was loved by all that knew him especially those in his close nit community of Summerhill located in South East Atlanta. Jeff also had a passion for sports rooting for his favorite teams the Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Falcons. You would always hear his presence by his distinctive laughter that could be heard from a mile way during family gatherings.

Jeff leaves a legacy of love to his Mother; Alice Myers. Sister/ Brother; Angela Heard Ingram (Michael), Brenda Harrison (Al), Derrick Myers (Regina), Roger Heard, Christopher Leslie, Michael Myers, Aunt/Uncles; Florene Williams, Willie (Diane) Heard, Lonnie (Yolanda) Heard, Freddie Heard. Special Cousins; Patrick Heard, Willie Heard, Kerry Heard, Demetrius Heard, Chris Benning,, Tony Heard (Shemika), Thomas Heard, Gregory Curry (Michelle), Sabrina Swindle, Cynthia Heard and a host of cousins from Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Newnan, and Atlanta Georgia. Niece/Nephews; Montavious Heard, Shannterria Heard, Michael Ingram Jr., Mikel Ingram (Paris), Kourtnee Reynolds, Maurice Harrison, Courtney Harrison..Roderick Hodo, Rakedra Rumph, Miracle Jones.
