With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of John Lander Grier age 62 on April 27th, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM May 3rd at Sewell Mortuary.

Visitation will be for 4 to 6 PM on May 2nd at the Mortuary.

Mr. John Grier born December 31, 1962 to Ida Grier and the late Ralph Grier Sr, step father, Robert Parks. He departed this life on April 27, 2025.

John was from Luthersville Ga., he attended Greenville High School.

John worked many years for the City of Luthersville.

His hobbies were going fishing and playing baseball with family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie Grier.

He leaves to cherish his memories, sisters and brothers Tammy Weathers, Hazel ANDREWS, Lola White, Denice White, Micheal Grier (Tracey Grier), Arthur White (Yolanda Dyer) and Ralph Grier. Leaving behind a host of nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly
