Mrs. Juanita Lakes Parks, daughter of the late Mr. Arthur Lakes Sr. and Mrs. Ellena Woodard Gates was born Janu- ary 2, 1939. Juanita departed her life on October 3, 2024.

Juanita was a devoted member of Branch Hebron Baptist Church. She loved and cherished her church family; she attended church until her passing. Juanita sung in the Branch Hebron Baptist Church Choir for many years; she later joined the dietary committee. Juanita also attended Arbor Chapel United Methodist Church regularly with her husband over the years.

Juanita, the twin to Walter Lakes who lived in Chicago IL until his passing attended school in the Odessadale com- munity of Greenville, GA. She was united into holy matri- mony to Warner Parks Sr. of Greenville, GA on March 17, 1957. Juanita worked at Pruitt Healthcare as a Housekeep- er for over 25 years; she later retired from Cagle's Inc. Dur- ing her retirement she worked as a caregiver for Mr. and Mrs. Britt for 15 years. Juanita loved cooking, singing, gar- dening, traveling, sewing clothes and dancing. Juanita was a committed, humble servant of God.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Warner Parks Sr. (2016) Sons, Robert Lewis Parks (2001) Warner Parks Jr. (2019) and Larry Bernard Parks (2022) Brothers, Sammie Harris; Arthur Lakes Jr. Jessie Harris Jr.; Water Lakes, Sisters, Patricia Lakes and Christine Matthews.

She leaves to cherish her memories daughters, Gwendolyn Parks, Daisey Bussey and Alma Dudley (Greenville, GA). Sons, Bobby Parks, Freddie Parks (Greenville, GA) and Curtis (Jackie) Bussey (LaGrange, GA). She raised Four Grandchildren as her own. Lavar Parks (Cleveland, OH) Christopher and Derenzie Parks (Havelock, NC) and Dr. Talecia Parks (Peachtree City, GA). One sister Bernice McClendon (Lincoln, NH). One daughter-in-law Renae Parks (Greenville, GA). Sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Parks (Jonesboro, GA); Jerlene Parks (Stone Mountain, GA) and Ellen Mason (Decatur, GA). Brother-in-law, Leoner (Annie Ruth) Parks (Jonesboro, GA). 18 Grandchildren and 47 Great-grandchildren. Special Friend Shirley Patrick, Devot- ed Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and Friends.

Funeral Service will be on October 11th, 2024 at 11 AM at Branch Hebron Baptist Church.

Visitation will be on October 11, 2024 8:30 at 11 am at Branch Hebron Baptist Church.
