Sewell Mortuary in Grantville respectfully announces the passing of Katie Lou Strickland.

Katie Lou Strickland was born in Griffin, Georgia to Mr. George Owens and Henrietta Owens. She was loved and will be missed by her family and Friends. She was the sister of Janie Owens and Wesley Owens. Katie Lou was married to Morris Strickland, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Dorothy Strickland, Jerome Strickland, Morris Strickland, Jr. Her son Calvin Strickland preceded her in death. Katie Lou lived a life of joy.
