Brother K. C. Echols, Jr. was born October 6, 1939 in Heard County, Franklin, Georgia. He was the third child to the late Mr. K. C. and Mrs. Carrie Dell Echols. He was called home to rest on January 24, 2011 at Carrollton Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was a member of the Heard Wesley United Methodist Church where he joined at an early age. On July 9, 2000, he united in marriage to Mrs. Sadie Royston Fletcher Echols. Two sisters; Rossie Mae Clark, Mrs. Cora Lee Potts, and one brother; Mr. J. B. Echols, all preceded him in death. He leaves two step children; Pastor Kevin Royston of Newnan, GA, Elaina Royston of Newnan, GA, four (4) step grandchildren; Tiara Royston, Austin Royston, Kahlil Royston, Joshua Royston, one sister; Mrs. Martha West of Newnan, GA, four brothers; Mr. Robert Lee Echols of Franklin, GA, Mr. Cleophus (Joyce) Echols of Whitesburg, GA, Mr. William Echols of Newnan, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, and friends to cherish his fond memories.
