With humble respect, Sewell Mortuary in Grantville announces the transition of Kenya Bray on September 21, 2023.
The funeral service will be Saturday, September 30th, at 3:30 PM at Springfield Baptist Church Carter Street Greenville Ga.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on the 29th, at Sewell Mortuary.
THIS IS MY STORY... Mr. Kenya Lennell Bray was to born Annie Cox and late Lennell "Rooster" Bray Sr. (Mary "Nancy" Bray) on January 28, 1975 in Boston, Massachusetts. Kenya attended Troup County High School in Lagrange, Ga where he played football and basketball graudauting in the year 1994. Kenya attended Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City, AL where he studyed Criminal Justice and played basketball. Kenya enjoyed sports and being a family man. Kenya participated with coaching the youth in basketball in Meriwether county.
Kenya leaves his loving memories to join his late wife Tomeika "Meka" Bray and Brother-In-Law Allen Tenny of Luthersville, Ga; three sons: Lamarcus Tenny (Talika) of Newnan, Ga, Kenzavier Tenny Sr. and Keron Tenny of Luthersville Ga; two grandson: Lamarcus "MJ" Tenny Jr and Kenzavier Tenny Jr; one granddaughter: Anilah Tenny; Mother: Annie Cox of Newnan, Ga; Dad: Michael Cox of Riversdale, Ga; four brothers Lennell "Man" Bray Jr of Phenix City, AL, Brandon Gates of Lagrange, Ga, Mikeem Cox of Ellenwood, Ga, Reshawn Bray (Angelie) of Mountville, Ga; three sisters: Tiffany Thompson (Brian) of Snellville, Ga, Lasandra Bowles (Undray) of Luthersville, Ga, Lakita Cox of Newnan, Ga; five nephews: Ladedricus Cox, Kingston Cox, Ladrevious Bowles, King Bray, Princeston Cox; six neices: Shanell Bray, Tiluana Johnson, Quon'Kerria Favors, Chrissani Jackson, Lashontis Bowles, Savannah Bray; two great nieces: Lyrik Reed and Alina Bridges and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
